Historic Entry by Saina into World Super Series Semis

Saina Nehwal, 18 year old who shrugged off her opening match disappointment to become the first Indian shuttler to reach the semi-finals of World Super Series Masters Finals when she defeated Mew Choo Wong in group league stage, in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.

Saina Nehwal defeated Wong of Malaysia, with the points 21-10, 17-21, 21-16 to claim her second successive win that catapulted her to the last four stage.

Saina didn't gave Wong not much chance and wrapped up the match within 48 minutes.

China’s Liang Wen-Chong who won the $1m Hero Honda Indian Open at the Delhi Golf Club (DGC) on Sunday after a sensational performance in the last 2 holes. The scores were:
