Blasts in Jaipur, India: Kills 18

An explosion at an illegal fireworks factory in Jaipur, India killed about 18 people inlculding 10 children. The Blast happened at the early morning time at workshoop which is setup in a home in slum area.

World Bank hasn't black-listed us: Says Satyam

Fourth Largest Software company Satyam Computers on Monday told that they were not black listed by World Bank from bidding offshore contracts.

On WB statment Satyam said that "The Fox News story is wrong and is riddled with falsehoods and errors. The story cites misinformation from unattributed sources and leaked emails that are taken out of context."

Raj Thackeray chief of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) threatened to halt Jet Airways in Maharashtra if Staff of the jet airways are taken back and Raj Thackeray told to the media persons "Jet Airways can't lay off employees, even those on probation, in an arbitrary manner. Many of them have taken home loans and have other responsibilities. We will talk to the Jet people on Thursday. A 2yr Old Sonu brought out dead from the borewell

A 2yr Old Sonu, who fell into a 150-ft deep borewell which was carelessly left uncovered by district authorities in Shamsabad town in Agra. Army and paramilitary personnel and also locals joined in digging a parallel tunnel soon after the incident on Thursday in Lehrakapura village. But after 4 days struggle, a lifeless body of two-year-old Sonu was on Monday pulled out by rescue workers. This was the second incident in the district.

Amitabh Bachchan admitted to Hospital on Birthday

Actor Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai on Saturday after complaining of stomach pain, a hospital spokesman said.Bachchan, who turned 66 on Saturday, was rushed to Lilavati hospital, where the actor had undergone surgery in 2005 for an intestinal condition.
