Finally AS Murth was Appointed as New CEO of Satyam Computer Services on Thursday effective immediately. Before Murthy was appointed he worked as chief delivery officer for Satyam Computers

Added to this Tata Chemicals Homi Khusrokhan and Partho Datta are appointed as Special Advisors to the board to assist the management and finiancial areas

Satyam banned by World Bank for 8 years

India's Fourth Largest IT company Satyam Computer Services has been banned by World Bank said by a Fox News report. The report admits that a senior World Bank official admitting that Satyam has been barred from all business at the bank for eight years.

World Bank debarment has been meted out for "improper benefits to bank staff" and "lack of documentation on invoices," according to Fox News report.

World Bank hasn't black-listed us: Says Satyam

Fourth Largest Software company Satyam Computers on Monday told that they were not black listed by World Bank from bidding offshore contracts.

On WB statment Satyam said that "The Fox News story is wrong and is riddled with falsehoods and errors. The story cites misinformation from unattributed sources and leaked emails that are taken out of context."
