Simmons, 14, A Teen ager who survived for four months without heart, kept alive by a custom built artifical blood pumping device, until she has able to have a heart transplant, doctors said in Miami.
The Teen ager was suffering from dilated cardiomyopathy, a condition in which the patient’s heart becomes weakened and enlarged and does not pump blood efficiently.
