World's leadning media "The Times of India" has won the global award for clear writing and using simple, plain English. Britain's Plain English Campaign International Media Award 2008 was given to TOI for "demonstrating a positive attitude in raising the awareness of plain English within its press coverage throughout India."
In Total Asia TOI is the only media to recieve this Award.
