Terrorist may enter through Bangladesh Border - by Intelligence
First, confirmation that the Mumbai terrorists used SIMs bought illegally in Kolkata. Then, reports of HuJI operatives planning strikes in Bengal. And now, specific intelligence inputs that an eight-man hit team, including HuJI terrorists from Pakistan and KLO militants, has sneaked into the state through the Bangladesh border.
The alert has come from the Subsidiary Intelligence Branch (SIB), which passed on the information to the state's intelligence unit. The state IB top brass on Thursday informed home secretary Ashok Mohan Chakrabarti about the threat.

"India and US jointly trying to cripple ISI" - Pak Media
Pakistan's English-language newspapers reported that ISI had been cleared that ISI has no involvement in the Mumbai terrorist attacks by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
According to Karachi-based Dawn, quoting diplomatic sources, FBI agents interrogated Ajmal Kasab, the lone surviving terrorist for nine hours in Mumbai. They concluded that he was a Pakistan national but ISI was not involved.

Today Mumbai terrorist Kasab to be produced in Court
Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab, a terrorist in mumbai terror attacks was arrested and was in custody which ends today and police registered 12 cases against him in mumbai terror attacks.
Ajmal, the sole terrorist of the group of ten to be arrested, has been in police custody since November 27 and has been kept in an undisclosed location since.
Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rakesh Maria said that Kasab will be produced today at magistrate's court at the Esplanade Court house in south Mumbai.
Added to this "We have booked Ajmal under sections like murder, attempt to murder, waging war against the nation, conspiracy and relevant sections of the Arms Act and Explosives Act," Maria Said.

No Evidence of local support involved in the recent terror attacks: Mumbai Police Commissioner
Mumbai Police Commissioner Hasan Gafoor said that their is no such evidence of local support was involved in the recent terror attacks in Mumbai. The Police Chief said in Press Meeting "There were 10 terrorists divided in 5 groups, each group contianing 2 terrorists who had came from Karachi in boats and later hired taxis to reach their destinations and all of them came from pakistan and trained over a one year by ex-Army personnel".
And also said that they carried 5 bombs out which 2 exploded in taxis in Vile Parle and Dockayrd Road, another One bomb was placed inside Oberoi hotel, one near Taj hotel and also each terrorists had AK-47 riffle, one pistol, hand grenades, magazines and also detailed Map of targetted places.
According to PTI, Police Chief said that the main plan of the terrorists was to create sensation and panic in the city.

End of Nariman House Operation
Reports of TV suggested that the Nariman House Encounter had come to an end, Mumbai police commissioner Ghafur has said the operation is not yet over.
"I don't know how people got the impression that operations (in Nariman House) are over. In their own interest people should not come close to the House,” he said. Nariman House operations may be in final stage, Ghafur added.
Five dead bodies have been found, NSG Director General J K Dutt has said.
We had taken over the second floor of the house when grenade was launched from above. Three hostages were killed by terrorists before they moved upstairs, said J K Dutt. NSG commandos then moved upstairs to kill two terrorists on the fourth floor. Terrorists killed two hostages on this floor, he added.
