BrahMos (Brahmaputra of India and the Moscow of Russia) is a supersonic cruise missile that can be launched from submarines, ships, aircraft or land. It is a Joint venture between India's DRDO and Russia's NPO Mashinostroeyenia.
In the earlier test of BrahMos was carried out in 20th January and but it was failed to hit the target. After the failure then the BrahMos has detected some software issue.
BrahMos Missile test was again done on Wednesday Morning at 10.30 hrs at Missile Testing Range Pokhran in Rajasthan desert. This time Missile has successfully hitted the target. "The Block II BrahMos missile was successfully launched at 1030 hours this morning," officials of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), who have developed the weapon system in collaboration with Russia scientists, said.
It took at about "took two-and-a half-minutes to strike its target in the Pokhran firing range in Rajasthan," officials said
