Noble Prize announced for the Year 2008

Nobel Foundation announced the Noble Prize Winners were announced for the year 2008.

Peace - "Martti Ahtisaari" who is the Former President of Finland, worked to end conflicts in troubled spots around the world for more than three decades made him to won the Noble Prize

Economics - "Paul Krugman" , A American economist for his analysis of trade patterns and location of economic activity which made him to won the Noble Prize for Economics.

Literature - "Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio", French writer , whose work reflects a seemingly insatiable restlessness and sense of wonder about other places and other cultures, won the 2008 Nobel Prize in Literature on Thursday.

Medicine - "Harald zur Hausen", "Francoise Barre-Sinoussi" and "Luc Montagnier", Three European scientists who had discovered viruses behind two devastating illnesses, AIDS and cervical cancer bagged the Noble Prize for Medicine. For more Information Click Here

Physics - "Yoichiro Nambu", "Makoto Kobayashi" and "Toshihide Maskawa", An American and two Japanese physicists on Tuesday won the Nobel Prize in Physics for their work exploring the hidden symmetries among elementary particles that are the deepest constituents of nature. Chemisty - "Osamu Shimomura", "Martin Chalfie" and "Roger Y.
